AI Credits in your plan
AI Credits are used for the AI processing you request. Simple files use fewer credits; long, scanned, image-heavy or complex documents use more. See your used and remaining balance in Billing.
A refill adds AI processing capacity to the current period. It does not increase the member cap, reset storage or move the period end. A new period requires a full plan renewal.

Yes. NexaFile processes accepted content in full or clearly declines it before analysis; it does not silently read only the first pages.
Why can a file be declined when AI Credits remain?
AI Credits depend on processing workload. Large, scanned, image-heavy or complex files can require more credits; NexaFile indicates when the balance is insufficient before processing.
SaaS and private AI
Standard plans use the configured SaaS AI provider. Private processing is an Enterprise option under a separate agreement.
NexaFile processes only the content needed for the feature you request and applies data-minimization safeguards before sharing necessary content with a service provider.
Trial, Starter, Business and Scale are SaaS plans. Required content may be sent to the configured AI API provider, currently OpenAI API, only to perform the user-requested analysis.
Yes. AI output assists review. Check results and evidence against source documents before legal, financial, tax, HR or operational decisions.
How is document data handled?
NexaFile processes content needed for the requested feature. Provider, deletion, export and retention details are in the Privacy Policy.
