AI Credits usage guide
A short guide to your workspace and document analysis.
AI Credits usage guide
See the AI Credits included in each plan, when they are used and how to add more.
How usage works
AI Credits are used for the AI processing you request. Simple files use fewer credits; long, scanned, image-heavy or complex documents use more. See your used and remaining balance in Billing.
Your balance is checked before each new AI task, so a task will not start when there are too few credits.
When AI Credits run low
NexaFile warns you when credits are running low. If there are not enough for a new task, that task cannot start. The workspace Owner can buy more; existing documents and results remain available.
Buying more does not change your current period
A refill adds AI processing capacity to the current period. It does not increase the member cap, reset storage or move the period end. A new period requires a full plan renewal.
Review the result
- Check the summary, fields, risks, dates, amounts and recommended actions against the original documents before making decisions.
- Owners and admins invite teammates. Each person receives access according to their assigned role and document permissions.
- Documents are private to their creator by default. Owners, admins and department managers do not automatically see their content. An authorized person explicitly assigns a document to a reviewer, who can approve it or request changes within their granted permissions.
